Depression exists on a spectrum and encompasses a range of experiences characterized by feelings such as sadness, worthlessness, meaninglessness, low energy, and lack of enjoyment. Many people experiencing depression use psychiatric medication to help, but talk therapy is almost always recommended. For treatment of depression, we’ll provide a space for you to openly talk about feelings and thoughts that arise. Sometimes we’ll discuss past experiences that may be impacting you currently. We’ll also look at patterns of thought and behavior that may be the cause of suffering. Together, we’ll explore ways to elicit more joy, purpose, and meaning. We'll take stock of your life - work, relationships, eating habits, exercise patterns, hobbies, etc. - and support you in finding the balance that you need.
