Trauma encapsulates a wide range of experiences, and everyone is affected by trauma differently. Whether you’ve been a victim of abuse, neglect, or have experienced other types of past hurts, trauma may be affecting you to this day. Trauma from childhood can often create present-day emotional triggers, cause dysfunctional behavioral patterns, and leave people feeling hurt and resentful. Recent traumas may leave you feeling hurt, scared, angry, and anxious.

There are a range of ways to heal trauma. Sometimes we’ll start by shifting patterns of thoughts and emotions in the present. Other times we’ll do Somatic Experiencing work, where we'll create a safe space for you to discharge the emotional pain resulting from trauma.
